Veikkausliigan toukokuun kuukauden pelaaja on FC Interin Clinton Jephta

The players selected FC Inter’s Clinton Jephta as the Veikkausliiga Player of the Month for May.

Clinton Jephta has brought pace and attacking threat to FC Inter’s offensive play, particularly on the flanks. Still adapting to a new environment, the young winger demonstrated his talent in May, recording 2 goals and 4 assists in six matches. In addition to these numbers, he has been actively involved in building attacking situations.

Jephta is only 19 years old but has already gained experience in his domestic top division in Nigeria as well as with the NIgerian U20 national team. In the spring of 2026, he joined FC Inter on loan, where his role has developed into that of a versatile attacking player: primarily operating on the wing, Jephta is also capable of playing centrally as a striker. In the Veikkausliiga, Kansallinen Liiga, Ykkösliiga, Kansallinen Ykkönen and the men’s Ykkönen, the players vote at the end of each month for the league’s Player of the Month. Players are not allowed to vote for someone from their own team. The player who receives the most votes during the month is selected as Player of the Month.
